I want translate pytrainer to my language, what should i do?

First of all you need the source code of the program, download the last 1.0.* version from here.
Once you have downloaded it, untar it and look in the "locale" folder for your locale language. (for example if you want translate to spanish look for "es" folder).

If you locale folder exists please, contact for the current language translater if you want modify the translation. You can found the translater email address in the credits section of this page.

If your locale folder doesnt exists, do this:

Create yor locale *.pot file:
msginit -i messages.pot -l "yourLocaleCode" -o pytrainer_"yourLocaleCode".pot
Edit and translate the pytrainer_"yourLocaleCode".pot file with kbabel (kde users) or gtranslator (gnome users).
Send me by email the pytrainer_"yourLocaleCode".pot file with your name and personal blog/webpage (if you want) to write it in this webpage credits section.

Why dont I see my records stage profiles?.

Because you need a gpx file attached at your record.

What is a gpx file?.

gpx means GPS eXchange Format. Is an extandar xml format for the gps devices. With it you can record all your excursion (position, height, times, etc..). Thanks it pytrainer can draw some profiles and maps :)

How can i get my records gpx files?.

First of all you need a gps device. Once you have one you can get your gpx file with programs like gpsbabel. Look at gpsbabel webpage:
